CELTRIC
As his father plays the drums, he was thrown into music and grew up with rock and new age from artists like Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Jimmy Hendrix, Santana, …. At the age of twelve he followed 3 years of classical music and started to play the guitar.
In the early ninetees he discovered acidhouse music in the legendary club 'Boccaccio'. Very impressed by this new music and the atmosphere it created he started to buy his first records and put the guitar aside. These early years strongly influenced his interpretation of music.
In 1996 he started to play as resident dj in a club in Zottegem called Cartoons, where he played with renomated Belgian and international guests. Not very pleased with the mainly by house dominated program he managed to get once a month his own night and invited innovating Belgian techno djs, mainly from the Brussel's and Ghent's scene (D-jack, Acid Kirk, Seal Phüric, Spacid, …). These nights soon gained more popularity and contributed to his succes. With Orpheus & Eurydice he started to organise events outside the club and programmed progressive national and international artists.
In 1998 he was contacted to join Funky Green Aliens. With his work for FGA he gained respect both as dj and organizer far beyond his hometown.
As a dj, Celtric seduces the dancefloor with a dark, but warm atmosphere by a mix of obscure nu-skool electro and deep experimental techno, allthough on occasions he can adapt to the need of the dancefloor by playing other styles. He knows how to bring the dancefloor systematic to a higher level, always with his own personal touch and without ever forgetting quality and sensitiviness.
CLAR & CAMEO
Clar & Cameo started to spin together at the age of 16. Techno was their main style but they soon got attracted to house music. Untill now they are playing there favorite style which is TECH-HOUSE. Influenced by Nathan Coles and Gideon Jackson, who showed them the way to this fascinating style. Back in the days their first party that they had to play on was TMF alter8.
A couple of months later Cactus Club followed. BC, who was a member of footworxx, also gave them the chance to play at Urban Grooves. Later on they had to play at Decadance because they had won the first "look-mum" dj-contest. Soon a couple of party's in Gent followed like funky friday's (3 times) and Soirée D'luxe. At this time they still have to play at several gigs such as Area 51 (2 times), Riflexz, Organise the night…
The highlite in their (still young) dj career was Café D'anvers free vibes!!
They have also helped with organising some party's in their hometown which was called 'Big Bash'. The first edition was in the summer of 2003 and it was a succes, the second one was on the 27th of August 2004, outdoor, with special guest, Slater Hogan!!
